Recorded at Mobtown Studios in Charm City (Baltimore, MD.), the sophomore album from The Evokatones presents a unique take on ska with elements of rock, reggae, pop, r&b and just plain goodness. This album aims to EVOKE skanking and singing with each track; transmitting messages of strong positivity, separation from the status quo and any negativity that dimishes from souls purpose, while touching on circumstances of the heart and remaining resilient in a world full of pitfalls and "politricks".
The Evokatones would like to extend the highest gratitude to our families and friends for their continued love and support. Special thanks to Christeen Taniguchi, Berta Bernal, Mat Leffler-Schulman and all the staff at Mobtown Studios, Papa Wabe, Josh (Pit Boss) and Tiffany Beth Handel, Erin and Tyler Maltese, Auggie Van Meter, Rachel Hill, Josh Douglas, Kelly Stith, Dustin Pet, Torbin and Christi Green, Abby and Christina at the 8x10, DJ Spam, Travis and Matty from the Sidebar, #skarevivalists, our lovely Charm City, all the musicians we have had the honor of playing with and every person that comes out to our shows and skanks hard. Keep It Rude!
